What kind of classes do you have to take? Is it hard to get a dental hygienist job when you get your degree?
Is dental hygiene a good major?
Dental hygienists are usually trained at community colleges or trade schools, not 4-year universities.
The school you're enrolled at will tell you what classes you need to take; usually, it involves a lot of science. You must pass a licensing test before you can join a dental practice.
You can search through dental hygienist programs here:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there is a great need for hygienists, so you shouldn't have a problem finding work. Good luck.
