Job Interview Questions for soon-to-be Dental Assistant?

Hey people! I need some help here!

I already have my resume (and copies) ready and some potential employers yet to be contacted. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on what questions to ask after the interview.

I know it's common courtesy not to question about your salary or vacation days, but what about benefits? Any other questions you can think of concerning the dental field (or even a job in general), please let me know. This is my first job of any kind.

Thanks!

first off, congrats on making it this far! ask if :

1.How long until vacation is granted for one week...for two weeks, etc.?

2.What is the office's emergency plan and is it practiced/gone over regularly?

3.What is the office policy regarding parents in the operatory when their child is in the chair?

4.Are uniforms provided?--if so, Are uniforms cleaned by the dentist?

5.What benefits are paid - i.e. uniforms, disability insurance, liability insurance, CE, travel to CE, lodging and meals for CE?
Reply:Being a dental professional myself I would brush up on the basics. This site covers most things to get you up to speed on anything you may not know.
