Hi - Currently I am a flight attendant and I've worked with the same company for 15 years.
Before that I was a dental assistant for 9 years.
I also have had sales jobs: cars, carpet, and healthclub memberships.
After all of these years of traveling and being away from home so much I'm ready for a change. I was in the Army National Guard but I don't have any college(and don't want to go). I'm 41 yrs old.
I'm fortunate enough that I don't have to support an entire family but I do need to contribute to our income.
Sales at like Quick Weight loss Center or Jenny Craig, etc. sounds interesting. Any suggestions?
Any Suggestions For Jobs With No College Degree?
Be a loan officer, appraisor.. good money, little training.. I used to work for the electric co. here in Chicago as a customer service rep, and I started at over $18/hour.. plus benefits.. no degree.. some training.. helps that you have customer skills, which you do:)
Good luck!
Reply:Plenty of jobs in the motel and food service industries.
Reply:Always lots of sales jobs.
The secret is to sell products which are expensive and have high profit margins.
Not cars.
Real estate, corporate mgmnt software, NOT PC stuff.
Reply:There are many jobs out there that don't require a degree, just good training, hard work, common sense and a good attitude.
Sounds like your good with people- if your the office type a receptionist, sales if you want the retail/food services. You can work your way up and even maybe find your niche.
Good Luck.
