Does anyone know how much it costs to get dental x-ray certification?

I think the price differs from state to state. Some states require only written testing and some require hands on seminars and testing. My boss paid my fees for my testing. I think it runs anywhere between $50-100 dollars a test or more. There is x-ray (radiography) certification, polishing, topical fluoride, nitruos oxide, and a few more certification tests also. I loved being a dental assistant, I liked watching the blood. Wierd. I also liked calming people, explaining things so they understood. I went back to hygiene school for the pay and better hours.
Reply:I think the xray cert through DANB is $125, but I'm not sure.





I love my job~ I wouldn't say it was difficult.. challenging is a better word.





The only info I have would be to stay with it since the possibilities are endless... and just make sure you know what the scope of practice is for your state so you know what you are allowed to do legally.........and what you aren't.
