im torn between the 2...
Dental Asst. is a 8-5 job behind a desk all day...it has good benefits and of course dental insurance...
Culinary Art school seems harder and a lot longer..but i would love to learn everything they teach you cuz i like to cook and i would love to know a lot more...the only thing im worried about is when im done with culinary arts to become a chef,is the buisness...ill be in the restaurant business again and i see it being a little chaotic and i would like to have my weekends and nights with my family...but i dont see that happening as a chef.
if anyone has been to dental school or culinary arts please share your opinions...
if your a chef or dental assistant, please tell me your experience in these fields..thanks!
Which major i do: Dental Assistant or Culinary Arts?!?
Dental Assistance is not behind a desk all day lol. I registered at a Dental Assitance Training Program in Manhattan, NY. It was a 12 month program taught by Dentists. Upon completion and Interning. I got hired at a Dental Office located on 5th Avenue. The hours were 8 - 5:30 with a pay of $16 an hour. 95% of the time I was in the sterilizing center, patient checking computer/charts and most of all assisting the Dentist. It was a fair job, very fast paced. It can be stressful, *eh em* the patients ... but that's known. IDK I learned alot during my time as a Dental Assistant. I really enjoyed it.
