My job doesn't offer dental insurance and I need my wisdom teeth out.?

I don't qualify for help, but I can't pay for something like that up front. With all the bills I have I can make only payments. A lot of dentists around here don't take payments. Where can I go? What websites?

I know this guy named Marty. Every second Tuesday of the month he parks his camper behind Walmart on Hogan Blvd. For $50 he will pull 2 teeth. But for $60 he will pull three. Your choice. He also gives paps as well. They are $35, but you also get a class of wine while AC DC is playing in the background. HOWEVER, a friend of a friend said she got three teeth pulled, a pap, and a mammogram for $100. Can't beat a deal.
Reply:Some major medical insurance plans will pay to have your Wisdom Teeth removed. If you haven't already, check with your health insurance.

Reply:Can you pay with a credit card? Shop around, and find a card with a low interest rate first.





Also, if the bill is high enough and your income low enough, you may be able to deduct your medical costs on your income taxes. If you know you're going to have several medical bills coming up, you may be able to either delay them until next year, or accelerate them and incur them this year so that you have enough for the deduction. Take a look at last year's income tax return, plug in your estimated income and medical expenses for this year, and see if you're close.
Reply:Your dentist should have a consult about billing with you. There, a billing rep will determine which costs go on medical insurance, and which go on dental insurance. Basically, the more effort required to get a tooth out, the more likely it is to fall under medical insurance. So, you should be able to get a little help there. Then, you'll just be responsible for the parts that fall under the dental part.
